Core Installation 'Preparing Your Desktop'

Isn't it ironic that when you logon on a Windows Server 2008 core installlation, the "Preparing Your Desktop" phase takes longer than on a "full" installation of Windows Server 2008? I mean there isn't hardly any desktop to prepare Huh?

At least this is my experience, any of you have this too?

I have noticed that! I will ask around why does that happen! btw. I've seen on many computers so I'ts not just happening on two computers.

By the way, this also affects the time it takes to open Virtual Machine Connection of VMs on Server Core...
